rails to trails conservancy

Dear Campaign Advocate,

On April 6, Rails-to-Trails Conservancy (RTC) sent you a vitally important e-mail, asking you to facilitate the submission of a policy request from your congressional office(s) to the Transportation and Infrastructure (T&I) Committee leadership.

Your response has been truly admirable. Dozens of you made sure that letters were sent from local leaders to your congressional office asking that such a policy request be submitted. Thank you very much.

Now, please contact your congressional office(s) to determine if policy requests have been submitted to the T&I leadership. Knowing which policy requests were submitted is of central importance to strategizing next steps for the campaign.

This is a valuable opportunity for you to advance your relationship with your congressional office. Additionally, since “late” policy request submissions (after Friday, May 1) are preferable to those not submitted at all, calls at this point could ensure that the policy request is, in fact, submitted.

Once calls have been made, please let us know.

Thank you, again. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions or concerns about this process. We will update you shortly on the status of this effort and next steps.

Sincerely,

Rails-to-Trails Conservancy
